After breakfast we will take you to the airport for your flight to Pangkalanbun in Borneo.

Upon your arrival in Pangkalan Bun Airport, meeting service with our staff and guide then direct transfer to Kumai and direct transfer to the houseboat. Afterward boating down Kumai River, approximately 15 minutes to reach Sekonyer River, the main river in Tanjung Puting National Park. Cruise up the Sekonyer river you will see nice vegetation around the river bank, Nipa Palm, Pandanus, and some kind of trees that growing up around the river. See some wildlife such as birds, Macaque, Proboscis Monkey and Orangutan. Boating up to observe and learning more about Proboscis monkeys along the river banks. Proboscis monkeys are being endemic animal that can be seen only in Borneo.

After breakfast on the boat, continue on the river to Pasalat Camp. Here you go on a hike to the camp, where you can learn more about the national park’s reforestation program and plant a tree yourself for the orangutans. Then it goes on by boat to Camp Leaky. Here, too, you walk through the jungle to the camp’s feeding station. In the afternoon your boat will take you to Pondok Ambung. If you want, you can go on a short hike again before dinner in search of nocturnal animals such as tarantulas.

Today you will take the boat to Pondok Tanggui for another feeding at 10:00 a.m.

Afterwards, walk to Tanjung Harapan Village where you can learn more about life in the national park. After a short stop at Tanjung Harapan Camp, take the boat to the “Nipa Palm” mangroves where you can watch hundreds of fireflies at sunset.

It’s time to say goodbye to the jungle and the orangutans. Your driver will take you from the boat to the airport. Your next destination lies ahead of you: the island of Java. Upon arrival in Semarang, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel in Borobudu, where you can relax for the afternoon.

This morning in the pre-dawn hours, you’ll head out with your driver to be at famed Borobudur at sunrise. Not only is the mist and lighting at dawn serene, it is also a special time to explore this ancient site before masses of tourists arrive later in the day. Borobudur predates Angkor Wat by 300 years and Notre Dame by 200 years. “Discovered” in 1815, it has been excavated and returned to its original glory.

Afterward drive to the village of Sentolo, located at south of Yogyakarta. Upon arrival, cycle through the surrounding villages and rice fields. In Sentolo you will learn about the production of tempeh (fermented soybeans), traditional weaving and everyday life in a Javanese village. Finally, enjoy a traditional Indonesian lunch before your driver drops you back to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, your driver and guide will pick you up at the hotel for a short city tour. First, your driver will take you to the Beringharjo market. In addition to food, clothing, jewelry and kitchen accessories are also offered. Haggle with the vendors for the best price, try exotic fruits or buy a nice batik cloth. Continue to Tamansari Water Castle.

Then it goes on to Kampung Tirtodipuran. Kampung Tirtodipuran is the center for batik, a traditional Indonesian textile dyeing process in which the pattern is covered with liquid wax, which keeps the original color of the fabric during the subsequent dyeing. Then Kota Gede, the then capital of the Mataram Kingdom, beckons. Javanese, Hindu and Islamic architectural styles reflect the splendor of the former kingdom.

Today the morning is at your disposal. Relax at the hotel or explore Yogyakarta on your own. In the afternoon, your driver will take you to the Prambanan Temple, one of the largest Hindu temples in Southeast Asia, which was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991. This Hindu temple complex was built between the 8th and 10th centuries and consists of eight main shrines and more than 250 individual temples. Then it goes to the Ratu Boko Temple for a breathtaking sunset. After your temple visit, your driver will take you back to the hotel.

After breakfast our driver will take you to the train station in Yogyakarta. From there, take a train through the scenic Java landscape to Mojokerto, East Java. Upon arrival, our driver will take you to your hotel near Mount Bromo. It takes about 4 hours to get there. In the afternoon you can relax in your hotel.

Early in the morning you drive by jeep to the approx. 2700 meter high Penanjakan viewpoint. From there you have a fantastic view of Bromo and Semeru. After the unforgettable sunrise it goes to the Bromo crater, where you climb an approx. 250 step staircase to the crater rim to explore the Bromo crater. Then it goes back to your hotel for breakfast before continuing by car towards Ijen. The drive to Ijen takes 5-6 hours and takes you past numerous tobacco, cocoa and coffee plantations. After arriving at your hotel, relax for the afternoon.

Early morning your driver picks you up at the hotel and takes you to the Ijen volcano. A 1.5 hour ascent takes you to the crater rim. Accompanied by the first rays of sunshine, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the landscape of the Ijen volcano. From the edge of the sulphurous crater lake you can later watch the workers who, surrounded by plumes of smoke, mine sulfur by hand. With numerous impressions, you return to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast. After check out you will  continue to the port of Ketapang, from where you take a ferry to Pemuteran in Bali.

After breakfast today we go to Banyuwedang Beach. A brisk boat trip away is the island of Menjangan, where you can discover the fascinating underwater world of West Bali National Park while snorkeling. In addition to angelfish, clownfish and large schools of Chromis, with a little luck you can see a ray. At lunchtime you will get a small packed lunch on the boat before you return to the hotel by boat and car. Afternoon at leisure.

After breakfast, head towards Sanur. First, go towards to the Banyumala waterfall in Munduk. After about 30 minutes on foot you will reach the waterfall where you can cool off a bit in the fresh mountain water. Your next destination is the Jatiluwih rice terraces. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is a kind of living museum that shows the traditional agriculture of Bali. Through intelligent land use and traditional irrigation systems, the local farmers have created picture book-like rice terraces on the steep slopes. Then visit the Taman Ayun Royal Temple, one of the most beautiful and impressive temples in Bali, known for its multi-storey roofs. After the temple visit, your driver will take you to your hotel in Sanur.
