Continue for a walking through the heritage of Kotagede through the Javanese culture and see the heritages. Later this afternoon you’ll be driven to the Prambanan Temple complex. This Hindu temple was built between the 8th and 10th centuries in honor of Shiva and is located about 40 km away from Yogyakarta. Afternoon return back to your hotel.

This morning after breakfast, check out and meet our representative. Today you’ll be driven to Kulonprogo (approx. 1 hour driving transfer) for a countryside cycling. The guide will take you to the village and you’ll meet and greet with the farmers and hands on to their daily works in the field and stop at local home industries i.e. tempeh makers, weaving, and also the locals daily activity. Cycling will end by the lunch at local house with traditional dishes.

After lunch, you will be transferred to your hotel in Borobudur

This morning in the pre-dawn hours, you’ll head out to be at famed Borobudur at sunrise. Not only is the mist and lighting at dawn serene, it is also a special time to explore this ancient site before masses of tourists arrive later in the day. Borobudur predates Angkor Wat by 300 years and Notre Dame by 200 years. “Discovered” in 1815, it has been excavated and returned to its original glory. The stone relief panels offer a clear glimpse into Buddhist doctrine and Javanese life 1,000 years ago. After exploring Borobudur, you’ll have a little free time to relax and enjoy at the hotel.

Early this morning meet our representative in your hotel and transferred to Bromo by car (approx. 6-7 hours driving). Arrive in Bromo afternoon and relax.

Make sure you have enough rest as next day you will be start very early!

Wake up early and enjoy the jeep ride to the vantage point of Mt. Penanjakan by the jeep and take short hiking into the platform as viewing point where you will see the incredible scene of Mt. Bromo in the foreground with Mt. Semeru. You’ll see the layers of foggy morning over the mountains. After sunrise time you still have time to amble around at the caldera rim of Bromo.

Return back to hotel for breakfast then continue for long drive approx. 5-6 hours to Banyuwangi. Arriving late afternoon/early evening.

Meet the driver at early morning in the hotel to experience a memorable trekking to the Ijen Crater in East Java and see the Blue Fire. The top of the volcano at Kawah Ijen is the world’s largest body of water filled with hydrochloric acid. Within the 20km caldera complex lays an amazingly blue lake.  Finished up the experience in the Ijen, decent to the slope and transfer back to your hotel for breakfast then later in the afternoon you will be transferred to Ketapang harbor for your ferry transfer to your next destination in Pemuteran located at the west of Bali.

Today you will move to Ubud. In the morning you will be picked up and transferred to Ubud, but first you will do the trekking tour in the hidden paradise! You will first start exploring on foot, Munduk and the village of Mayong. Then you will follow with the two Munduk waterfalls; Red coral waterfall / Munduk waterfall and Melanting waterfall. After visiting these waterfalls you will need to walk to the point of arrival. Going through the village, rice field and you can even stop in one of the elementary schools. After 2-3 hours of walking it is time for lunch, we will serve you with local Balinese food. After lunch, you will continue to the city of Bedugul and visit the famous Pura Ulun Danu temple in Beratan lake. Afterwards transfer to your hotel in Ubud.

After breakfast you will be picked up to go to Kintamani. Once you reach the starting point, the mountain bikes is ready for you. You will start cycling up to the Batur volcano for about 1,200m. After cycling about 3 hours you will reach a small restaurant overlooking the volcano and lake at the foot of Mount Batur. Enjoy your snacks at the local restaurant while overlooking the mountain top.

After getting some rest, get back on your mountain bikes and head downhill through small villages and forests to Gianyar. There will be about 30 km away, you can choose to continue with your mountain bike or by the car that is also provided for you. On the way you will stop at the hidden Krisik waterfall – what a unique experience! Finally, you will be invited by a Balinese family for lunch, before finishing your trip in the afternoon and returning to Ubud.

Today you will see the spiritual sight of Bali in depth run by our foundation partner in Ubud. You will firstly make an offering, called canang sari. This offering will be brought to the temples to ask permission of the gods to enter the temple. Continue to Gunung Kawi Temple to see the beautiful rice fields and the carved façade dating back to the 11th century. Afterwards stop at Tirta Empul, for the 14 holy water spots for purification where you will also wearing the traditional Balinese dress. Return to the foundation for a lunch.
