Later this afternoon meet our representative for a visit to Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, one of six key temples believed to be Bali’s spiritual pillars. Best time to visit this temple is during sunset with direct view of the Indian Ocean; it is a worthy moment that should not be missed! After sunset, still at Uluwatu you will be watching Kecak Fire Dance at Uluwatu, a nightly performance. The performance is an onomatopoeic title for the sound of the chant.

After a pleasant morning, you will be driven to the north of the island. The first stop is Jatiluwih rice fields, a living museum where you can see the methods of traditional agriculture on the island. Let’s continue our journey to the Banyumala waterfall. In the waterfall, you can enjoy the beautiful nature or cool off in the fresh mountain water. The last stop you will visit the city of Bedugul with the famous Pura Ulun Danu temple in Lake Beratan. This temple built in 1663 for the goddess Dewi Danu is one of the temples with great importance since the water of Lake Beratan irrigates most of the land of Bali.

After breakfast and check-out, you will be driven to Ubud. Along the way, you will stop in Serangan for a visit to the Turtle Conservation and Education Center, where they can release turtles into the sea. Continue to Goa Gajah or Elephant Cave, an archeological site of significant historical value. Here, you can explore its relic-filled courtyard and view the rock-wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains. Last stop, you will have a visit to Ubud Monkey Forest, is one of Ubud’s most popular attractions; a natural forest sanctuary that is home to a horde of grey long-tailed macaques. Afterwards transfer to your hotel in Ubud.

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast, you will be picked up at the hotel for today’s cooking class. At First, visit the local market in Ubud, where you can buy fresh herbs, spices, vegetables and meat. After arriving at the cooking school, enjoy a coffee or tea and then visit own small organic farm, where you will learn more about ingredients and directly harvest vegetables for cooking. Then, under guidance of the chefs, you will learn how to prepare delicious Balinese dishes, which you can enjoy during lunch time. The cooking class ends at 2:00 pm with the transfer back to the hotel in Ubud.

Today you will see the spiritual sight of Bali in depth run by our foundation partner in Ubud. You will firstly make an offering, called canang sari. This offering will be brought to the temples to ask permission of the gods to enter the temple. Continue to Gunung Kawi Temple to see the beautiful rice fields and the carved façade dating back to the 11th century. Afterwards stop at Tirta Empul, for the 14 holy water spots for purification where you will also wearing the traditional Balinese dress. Return to the foundation for a lunch. Lastly, you can enjoy the beauty of rice terrace in Tegalalang.

After check out in the morning you will be transferred to Sanur port and take a speed boat to Nusa Lembongan. Arrive at the hotel and relax.

Today is your relaxing day at the hotel. You can take up the water-based activity like snorkeling, diving or other fun activity.

In the morning, you will be picked up in the hotel for exploring Nusa Penida. You will take a speedboat to get Nusa Penida. Upon arrival in Nusa Penida, you will start the tour with a snorkeling tour. The snorkel equipment is already waiting for you on the boat. You only need a bathing suit, a towel and sunscreen for today’s excursion.

After a short briefing, the boat will take you to the most beautiful snorkeling spots in Penida: Mantay Bay, Crytal Bay. With a bit of luck you can swim here with the Manta Rays. Then, you will be taken to the island of Nusa Penida, where you will visit the highlights of the island with your driver: the first stop is the Klingking Beach viewpoint, then to “Broken Beach”, here you have a beautiful view and you can take fantastic photos. Broken Beach is a short drive from Angel’s Billabong. In the afternoon we return to hotel.
